The Edo language (Benin Kingdom, Edo state, Nigeria, Africa) is dying. People are no longer speaking it or reading it. It’s a shame. Our language is tied to our culture and our rich heritage. Many people don’t know about our creativity – our bronze and brass statues, or our pre-colonization sophistication.
I’ve been thinking about the state of things for so many years, and finally this year I decided to launch this campaign. Won’t you join me and make Edo famous again?
